Apple's composite color monitor for the Apple IIe — one of the first color monitors Apple sold in volume. The IIe's color graphics capabilities made a color display a meaningful upgrade from the standard green phosphor; the AppleColor Composite brought that capability at a price educational institutions could justify. Widely deployed in schools throughout the early 1980s.
