Power Macintosh 5400
LC 5400
All-in-Ones1996Uncommon
The Power Macintosh 5400 improved substantially on the troubled 5200 LC with a faster 603e processor and a redesigned bus that eliminated the worst of the 5200's bottlenecks. Available in configurations from 120 to 180 MHz, it was Apple's consumer all-in-one for 1996 — a machine capable enough for the Performa-era home user, though still overshadowed by the more elegant iMac that would follow two years later.
