The Quadra 900 was Apple's first professional tower since the IIfx — a full tower with five NuBus slots, room for multiple drives, and the same 25 MHz 68040 as the 700 in a chassis designed for maximum expansion. At $7,200 it was for power users who needed everything. The 950 that followed it pushed the clock to 33 MHz and became the most powerful 68k Mac Apple ever shipped.
